Day 17: Sunshine

Today we accomplished quite a bit. The sun was shining and we decided to take the first bike ride of the year. I inflated all the tires and retrieved Roland's bike trailer from the shed. It was really windy and when we biked due-North the wind would fight against us so hard that we were barely able to make headway.


We attempted to learn a new board game today. Our friends who live in Hungary gifted us the board game in August last year, but every time we opened the box, and glanced at the instructions it seemed like learning the game would be a Gordian knot. Unpacking the pieces, I kept thinking "I am a literate adult with a Master's degree in Business Administration. I am smart enough to learn this board game". I watched a lot of online videos and attempted to play a round with Cathy. Then I watched several more online videos and we started all over again. Then I watched more videos. I think I know enough about the game to play a whole session now, but I don't think Roland would tolerate us sitting down to play an entire game. If we ever get babysitters back, we will attempt it.


I went to the liquor store to purchase Ginger Beer for Cathy and some regular beer as prizes. I've been running online trivia contests for over a week now and it was time to drive around the village and deliver the winnings.
